Highlight: Adopt a Foster Child

Last year, in North Carolina alone, more than 1,700 foster children were adopted. There are nearly 800 more waiting for permanent homes. Most are nine-years-old or older, minorities or sibling groups who need families to provide loving care, support as they develop, and a home to come back to as they grow into adulthood. Creating families through adoption is a wonderful way to build families and to make meaningful contributions to the lives of children and youth. Learn more about foster child adoption
