A Short Series of Powerpoint Lessons

If you cannot attend a classroom session of Performance Management for Employees, you may complete this training online.

To go through the class online, you will need Powerpoint installed on your computer. Follow the steps below to start the class:

If you are using Netscape or Internet Explorer
  • When you click on Part 1 below, you'll probably get a box that asks you if you want to open up the file using Powerpoint (if you have Powerpoint on your computer). Click on Okay and the Powerpoint file should open.
  • If it does not work, contact your office computer expert for help!
  • If the Powerpoint file opens, look in the bottom left corner for the slide icon slide and click on that to start the slide show.
  • Then follow the instructions on the first slide to go through the class.

Important Note: If you need to stop the Powerpoint lesson completely before completing all of the screens, use the "Esc" key on your keyboard. The Powerpoint screens will disappear and you can go back to it another time from this screen. Then click on the Contents button at the bottom of any of the slides to select where you stopped from the Table of Contents.

If you are not familiar with Powerpoint, you might want to print these instructions before going on.

You will find more instructions in the Powerpoint slides on how to move through the training and how to document completion of the course.

Click on Part 1 below to begin.
