The Division of Human Resources is working on a project to develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for major human resource activities performed in the department. The first stage of this project included the development of SOPs for the area of benefits management. The project will subsequently branch out to other functional areas, such as employee relations and salary administration.
The SOPs will provide seasoned human resource professionals a readily available resource as well as serve as an on-line mentoring guide for new employees. By having well-established procedures, an employee’s work consistency, quality and timeliness are improved.
Should you encounter problems, as you use the SOPs, with links or accuracy of information, please immediately inform the appropriate Division of Human Resources’ section chief. Our goal is to always keep the SOPs accurate and up-to-date for your use.
